Planet Jumper
⚠️Audio & Warning
So currently the audio for the game is choppy and scratchy and I'm not sure how to remove it entirely. Also, the audio will seem to crash upon leaving/reloading the site, ignore it.
One warning is the version you are playing on was intended to be on windows as a .exe file. So, and "QUIT" button you press will freeze the game and you will have to reload the site.
🕹️ Controls & Gameplay
Using 'W', 'A', and 'D' provides your rocket with the thrust needed to take off into space.
- W: Vertical Thrust (Up)
- A: Left Thruster (Pushes you RIGHT)
- D: Right Thruster (Pushes you LEFT)
Why is it inverted? When you press 'A', it activates the thrust from the left side of your ship, propelling you to the right. The same logic applies to 'D'.
Planetary Movement
Use the ARROW KEYS to move while grounded on a planet:
- LEFT ARROW: Move Left
- RIGHT ARROW: Move Right
🪐 Physics Mechanics
- Friction: You may notice you move faster or slower depending on the planet. Each world has a unique friction value—some allow you to glide easily, while others are so intense you can barely move.
- Gravity: Not all planets have the same pull. Some are weak enough to glide past, while others will pull you to the surface instantly.
- Slingshot Effect: Use your Thrust to multiply your momentum. You can even combine the gravity fields of multiple planets to send your speed to the max!
- HIGH DANGER PLANETS Black Planets act like black holes grabbing you with VERY strong gravity, while White Planets act like white holes pushing you with VERY high anti-gravity
